Last year we all fell in love with the classic baked oats bowl and for good reason. So as we head back into the colder months, we’ve made a seasonal version of the fan favourite ideal for pumpkin season and absolutely delicious.
We’ve kept the ingredients as simple as possible, meaning you can whip up this winter warmer with ingredients found in your home pantry.
50g The Great British Porridge Co Apple & Cinnamon Oats
1tbsp Sweet Freedom Maple Syrup
50ml Plant-based milk
1tbsp Almond butter
1tsp Vanilla essence
1tsp Baking powder
Optional - Add a handful of blackberries for an additional wintery taste to the breakfast!
- Start by preheating your oven to 180 degrees and greasing your baked oats dish.
- Add all of your ingredients (apart from the optional fruit) into a blender and whizz together until a thick creamy batter has formed.
- If you’re adding fruit to this breakfast, now is the time to do it. Gently fold it into the mixture and ensure it is evenly distributed.
- Pour the mixture into your baked oats bowl and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown on top.
