Give the gift of breakfast in bed this weekend with these dreamy Berry Baked Oats. We’ve teamed up with our friends over at Roots N Shoots to create this delightfully light and fluffy baked breakfast treat. Perfect for sharing, this recipe is the tastiest way to enjoy Saturday morning!
What you’ll need (serves 2)
100g The Great British Porridge Co Oatrageously Original Oats
1 x Scoop Roots N Shoots Cacao Protein Powder
1 x Banana
1 x Egg
1tsp Baking powder
A splash of plant milk
Mixed fresh berries
Cacao nibs

Method

Start by pre-heating your oven to 180 and greasing a double-sized oven-proof dish with a thin layer of a plant-based butter.

Into a blender, begin by adding in all of the ingredients apart from the mixed berries and the cacao nibs.

Once well combined, gently stir in the cacao nibs and the fresh berries and ensure they are evenly distributed throughout.

Now that all of the ingredients have been well combined, pour the mixture into your oven-proof dish, pop it into the oven and leave to bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Remove from the oven, and dress with some more fresh berries or even some plant-based yogurt, before enjoying your breakfast in bed!
