Move over traditional Eton Mess, porridge is in town. This quick and easy breakfast recipe is inspired by a much-loved British classic. We've not used anything fancy for this one, just simple ingredients to make a delicious breakfast, ideal for grabbing on the go.
Made using our epic Strawberry & Peanut Porridge, we've added in a Vegan Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Bar from Flower and White to add a little extra crunch to breakfast time. The nuttiness of the porridge and sweetness of the bars marry together creating the perfect fruity breakfast option ready in just 5 minutes.
Method
Start by mixing 50g of Strawberry and Peanut Oats with 80ml of almon milk and leave to thicken in the fridge overnight.
Once the oats have worked their magic in the fridge, grab a mason jar or your favourite breakfast bowl and spoon in half of the porridge, followed by a handful of chopped strawberries and a Flower & White Dipped Strawberry Meringue bar.
Repeat these layers, then finish off with a generous dollop of strawberry or vanilla yogurt, then some more strawberries and meringue pieces. Now all that's left to do is grab your spoon and enjoy!
